Prior to the music video release, she posted three video teasers for the song from 13 to 15 February 2026 on her channel.
For the song, Moona Hoshinova provided the vocals herself. monii is credited as the lyricist, co-music arranger, and co-music composer. Johnny R is credited as the co-music arranger and co-music composer. Ari is credited as the co-music arranger. Asteroid Music Team produced the music.
For the music video, ChegiCH, Terrible Joe, and Vensen are credited as the 3D movie producers. Akio Momiji and VinjiVtuber provided the 3D assets.
Distortion is one of Moona’s original songs featured on Moona’s debut album, PANDORA.
