First aired in 2024, Oshi no Ko (Japanese title: 推しの子) anime is now available on Crunchyroll with an Indonesian dub. Virtuoso Studio Indonesia is credited as the studio behind the dubbing process.

Written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, the original manga Oshi no Kotells the story of an obstetrician who finds out that his favourite idol, Ai Hoshino, is secretly pregnant. Being a loyal fan, he promises to keep it secret from everyone. However, on the day Ai is supposed to give birth, the obstetrician is murdered by an unknown assailant.

Later after that, Ai finally gave birth to a twin. Surprisingly, the obstetrician is reincarnated as one of Ai’s twin children. Under the new identity Aquamarine Hoshino, the obstetrician spends his day together with his favourite idol while looking for the truth about his murderer, who probably has ties with Ai’s secret husband.

First published in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024, with each chapter collected in 16 tankōbon volumes. The comic is also published by m&c! for Indonesian readers on 12 January 2022

The anime adaptation has reached its third season, with the first season premiering on 12 April 2023. At the final episode of its third season, the staff announced the fourth and final season would be available on a later date. The anime was produced by Doga Kobo.

In addition to the original manga and anime adaptation, Oshi no Ko has also been adapted into a live-action series, which is available on Amazon Prime Video since 28 November 2024. On 19 February 2025, the featured film version of the live-action adaptation was also premiered in Indonesian cinemas.
