Malaysia’s largest anime, comics, and games convention, Comic Fiesta, has officially announced its event dates through a newly released animated promotional video. The event is scheduled to take place on 19 – 20 December 2026 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

The announcement video was directed and animated by Furai Sen, featuring the song Sanctuary by Rina Hime, with background art drawn by Alisha Menki Vo.

First established in 2002, Comic Fiesta has grown into Malaysia’s longest-running anime, comics, and games (ACG) convention. Held annually at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, the event has steadily expanded over the years, reaching approximately 75,000 visitors in 2025 and becoming Malaysia’s largest ACG event.

One of the event’s main attractions is its large amateur art market. It is regularly attended by more than 100 booths showcasing independent artworks, fan merchandise, comics, and creative projects from artists across the region. Outside the art market, cosplay activities also remain a major highlight of Comic Fiesta.

In addition to Comic Fiesta, the organisers also hold other ACG events, including Comic Art Festival in Kuala Lumpur, Anime Fest+ in Kuala Lumpur, and Comic Fiesta Mini which is held in two cities, Penang and Johor.
