The Comic Frontier (Comifuro) 22 event on 16 to 17 May 2026, at ICE BSD, Tangerang, presented a variety of new surprises from the pop culture scene. One of the surprises is the appearance of Eon of Stars (EoS), a new VTuber agency from Indonesia, that opened a booth at corporate booth #1110. As a new agency, their willingness to open a large corporate booth (which is significantly more expensive than a normal booth) shows their commitment as the new agency.

The KAORI team had the opportunity to interview with Almond, one of PIC’s (Person in charge) staff and talent managers. When we visited, the booth was constantly busy with enthusiastic fans. Due to its strategic location and the steady stream of visitors, we had to wait patiently before speaking with the staff member on duty.

Curious about the interview? Here’s a summary of our conversation with Almond from Eon of Stars.

First, can you introduce yourself?

Okay, my name is Almond. I am one of the PIC staff from Eon of Stars and the talent manager for Harris Caine, one of the VTubers from Eon of Stars.

Although EoS is a relative newcomer to the VTuber scene, their presence has been warmly welcomed by VTuber fans. What factors make EoS so popular?

First, our talent is focused on content creation. They are capable of creating high-quality content and have extensive experience in the VTuber industry. These two elements will help us create unforgettable experiences for our fans.

Furthermore, EoS is known for their creativity. Every aspect of EoS’ talent, management, and even our fans can consistently create something new and fresh.

Additionally, we are market-adaptable, which is important because the VTuber industry is known for being dynamic and unpredictable, necessitating careful planning for every implementation.

Last but not least, crucially, is fan research, especially on what our loyal fans want, which is then translated into products, content, and much more. These factors are what make EoS so popular.

Along with opening the booth at Comifuro 22, there is also a Meet and Greet session for devoted EoS fans. How did the process of Meet and Greet look like?

The Meet and Greet began with a one-on-one call between a talent and an EoS fan. Each session lasted five minutes, consisting of three minutes of conversation and two minutes for taking photos. After the session, fans received autographed postcards signed by all the talents, as well as a fan featuring the EoS member they had selected before the session.

What do you think is the biggest challenge to surviving in the current VTuber industry?

I think the biggest challenge we face is how to meet fans’ expectations. This can motivate us to improve and help us in the current VTuber industry.

What is your solution to this biggest challenge?

I believe that focusing on merchandise is one of our solutions. This is crucial, since merchandise is becoming more and more essential in the present day. Therefore, it is wise to prioritise quality, variety, and originality.

Additionally, we always work with trusted vendors, whether for merchandise production or event-related services. This helps ensure both quality and a memorable experience for fans.

Lastly, it is essential to always consider the advice and opinions of VTuber fans for every event we take part in. Two examples of this are enhancing queue quality and the merchandise.

What are your hopes for the future of the VTuber industry in Indonesia?

First, we hope the industry continues to improve and grow. Indonesia’s VTuber scene expands every year, both in terms of the number of participants and the quality of content and innovation.

Second, we hope the industry will become more oriented towards VTuber fans because their commitment and the community will always motivate many people to continue creating and spreading positive energy.

Third, we hope the community continues creating and innovating despite the challenges the industry may face.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, we also hope that the VTuber community continues to be joyful, because every happiness created and experienced by VTuber fans is key to the future growth of the VTuber industry here.

Thank you for the interview, Almond. We wish Eon of Stars further success and growth in the future!
